Hermann Fest – Hermannplatz Musik & Market
Migo is the name of a cute café in Neukölln, a restaurant dedicated to Moroccan culture. Migo is also the name of its manager, the café-restaurant is located located on Mainzer Str. 41 and although it is currently closed, the Migo café in past years has reserved a considerable amount of space for artists. In addition, Migo, again he, is the creator of the monthly market at Hermannplatz, a market that, for now, is held in the first part of the month. Markets in Berlin are a good time to shop, not to mention a good time to socialize. The latter is a quality we enjoy. But while we love eating well, what is most interesting to us is that the market at Hermannplatz features live music! Yes, you guessed it right, it had been since the Maybachufer market that we hadn’t heard about the stall-music combination.
However, the market at Hermannplatz does even more than that, it even includes three stages and a festival: the Hermann Fest – Hermannplatz Musik Festival.
This means there will be art, sociability and festivity as well as small restaurants under the tents. The next opening day will be August 12 and already many names of Berlin artists are scheduled to perform, different music, many colors, many languages and a strong desire to communicate, to be together, to listen to music, the great resource of the city. We can mention Fabien Matter, Gov, Roberto Puleo with his blues, The Last Attraction, las Palabras, Sky Fuzzes, Human Beans, Future 3000, Talamo with his loop station, Big Bull and his selfish Friends, Akascha Kafka, SVR, SOSOSO. From electric to acoustic, electronic to ethnic, north to south and east to west to celebrate this August. It closes with a jam session. For those for whom music is never enough, the dish is served!
